Charlton secure Liverpool 'keeper Carson on loan

Scott Carson has joined Charlton until the end of the season, meaning Liverpool have two England squad goalkeepers on loan at other Premiership clubs.

The 20-year-old Carson, who was in England’s World Cup squad this summer, is expected to compete for a first-team place at The Valley, while Chris Kirkland is at Wigan.
