Crouch left on bench for Haifa game

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez opted to leave England striker Peter Crouch on the bench for the Champions League third qualifying round first leg against Maccabi Haifa at Anfield.

Instead, he elected for Craig Bellamy as a lone striker on his home debut, supported by five midfielders, including Boudewijn Zenden.
