Bohemians slumped to another home league defeat as Alan Kirby scored for the third time in Longford's four-match unbeaten run.

The only goal of the game deservedly came to Longford on 38 minutes.

A flowing move involving skipper Alan Murphy and Danny O’Connor resulted in Alan Kirby collecting the pass and shooting past Stephen O’Brien for a fine finish.

Bohs had chances in the second half but efforts from Mark Leech, player/manager Gareth Farrelly and Stephen Ward came to nothing.
