Manchester United must move quickly if they decide to try to sign Patrick Vieira as he looks set to complete his switch to Inter Milan from Juventus this week.

The former Arsenal captain has yet to leave Juventus in the wake of their demotion for match-fixing despite four of his team-mates jumping ship almost immediately.
