Okocha completes Qatar move

Jay-Jay Okocha has signed for Qatar Sports Club having been released by Bolton.

The 32-year-old Nigeria international left the Reebok Stadium at the end of last season after scoring 18 goals in 123 appearances since moving to the Premiership club from Paris St Germain in 2002.

“Of course, Jay-Jay is here to help us win the silverware,” said a member of the Qatar Sports Club board.

“He has passed the medical and will join the team in a training camp in the Czech Republic soon.”
