Despite losing newly crowned eircom SWAI player of the month for June Paul McTiernan after just 12 minutes, Sligo cruised to victory to maintain their unbeaten home record.

McTiernan was taken off on a stretcher after just 12 minutes having sprained an ankle.

Faz Kudozovic shot home off a post for the lead goal ten minuts later to finish off a good move involving Matt Judge and Adam Hughes.

Barry Curran then scored a terrific second goal on 36 minutes. Judge set him up with a clever back heel and the young midfielder curled a delightful shot to the net from 26 yards.
