Bohemians had Thomas Heary sent off as they lost to a Mark Farren penalty at Dalymount Park. Bad defending gifted Derry the lead on 24 minutes.

Kevin Deery's long pass was allowed through to Molloy who shot home. Bohs levelled with a bizarre goal on 44 minutes.

Vinny Arkins had a ‘fresh air’ from player/boss Gareth Farrelly’s free kick to deceive Derry keeper David Forde and enter the net.

But Derry won it on 54 minutes when Farren converted a penalty after Ruadhi Higgins was taken down by Barry Ferguson. Heary was dismissed for dissent two minutes later.
