Wigan's Heskey bid accepted

Wigan are poised to smash their record transfer fee after Birmingham accepted a £5.5m (€7.9m) bid for striker Emile Heskey.

The Latics paid £3.1m (€4.5m) for Henri Camara last summer, making him their most expensive purchase to date.
