Drogheda United captain Declan O’Brien has been ruled for the rest of the season after breaking his jaw in two places during Sunday’s 1-0 win over Bray Wanderers.

Drogheda United captain Declan O’Brien has been ruled for the rest of the season after breaking his jaw in two places during Sunday’s 1-0 win over Bray Wanderers.

O’Brien was involved in an accidental collision with Bray goalkeeper Chris O’Connor and was immediately rushed to hospital where he underwent surgery last night, and will now be out for the remainder of the season.
