Magpies confirm Intertoto date

Newcastle have confirmed they will play their Intertoto Cup tie against either Keflavik or Lillestrom at St James' Park on Saturday, July 15.

The game will kick off at 5pm with the Magpies travelling to either Iceland or Norway a week later.

Manager Glenn Roeder will be in Scandinavia this weekend to see the two sides play their second round, first leg game after Icelandic outfit Keflavik eased past Dungannon Swifts in the first round.
