Derry City to face Gothenburg in UEFA Cup opener

Derry City have been drawn against Swedish side IFK Gothenburg in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup.

The Irish side will be away to the 1987 champions in the first leg of the tie on July 13, with the return leg taking place at the Brandywell a fortnight later.

Elsewhere, FAI Cup holders Drogheda United have been drawn against HJK Helsinki of Finland, while Northern sides Glentoran and Portadown will take on Norway's SK Brann and Lithuania's FBK Kauanas respectively.
