Roeder starts pro licence process
Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder is this week re-starting the process of gaining his UEFA pro licence.
The 50-year-old will spend the week in the classroom at Warwick University as he resumes the studies, which were cut short by a brain tumour in 2003.
Chairman Freddy Shepherd was last month given special dispensation, against the wishes of the League Managers’ Association, by his Barclays Premiership counterparts to appoint Roeder despite his lack of the qualification.
