D'Alessandro bound for Zaragoza
Real Zaragoza are poised to complete a loan deal for Argentina international Andres D’Alessandro.
Zaragoza have already come to an agreement with D’Alessandro’s German club Wolfsburg about a one-season loan deal and the 25-year-old is currently undergoing a medical with the Spanish side.
If all goes well then D’Alessandro, who helped Portsmouth avoid relegation last season, is set to be unveiled as a Zaragoza player later today.
Zaragoza will have the option to buy the playmaker, who is out of favour with current Wolves’ coach Klaus Augenthaler, at the end of his loan deal, but must make a decision before May 15 next year.
Wolfsburg business manager Klaus Fuchs said: “We are happy to have reached an agreement with such a well-known club as Zaragoza.”
