Drogheda assistant takes Galway United post

League Leaders Drogheda United have been rocked by the news that assistant manager Tony Cousins has terminated his contract with the club to take up the vacant managers job at Galway United.

The former Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk hit-man has been a firm favourite with the Drogs and has been assistant to Paul Doolin since February 2005.
