Germany captain Michael Ballack has expressed his excitement at the prospect of playing alongside Andriy Shevchenko for Chelsea next season.

Ukraine skipper Shevchenko has joined Chelsea from AC Milan in an estimated £30m (€43.7m) transfer, which will spearhead the club’s attack in the Barclays Premiership and Champions League.
