Chelsea sign Shevchenko for record £30m

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko from AC Milan for a fee of around £30m (€43.8m).

The 29-year-old flew into London today to conclude negotiations with the Stamford Bridge club after announcing last week his intention to leave.
