Vignal quits Pompey

Former Liverpool and Rangers full-back Gregory Vignal has joined Lens on a four-year contract from Portsmouth.

The 24-year-old returns to France on a permanent deal six years after signing at Anfield under Gerard Houllier, although he has had loan spells in his homeland with Bastia and Rennes.
