Gretna a goal behind in Scottish Cup final

Rudi Skacel blasted a late first-half goal to put Hearts on course for a Tennent’s Scottish Cup triumph over Gretna at Hampden Park.

The Bell’s Second Division champions found themselves under siege for most of the opening 45 minutes.

But, after Deividas Cesnauskis hit the post, the Black and Whites looked as though they would survive until the break.

However, Skacel had other ideas and fired home in the 39th minute to give the Bank of Scotland Premier League side the lead.
