Baby joy for Fowler and Gerrard

Liverpool FC striker Robbie Fowler became a father again yesterday on the same day as team-mate Steven Gerrard, it emerged today.

Fowler’s wife Kerrie gave birth to a 7lb 8oz boy – the couple’s fourth child - at Liverpool Women’s Hospital yesterday afternoon, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.

Just hours earlier, Gerrard’s partner Alex Curran gave birth at the same hospital to a 7lb 6oz girl, named Lexie. She is the couple’s second daughter.
