Tony Vidmar has withdrawn from Australia’s World Cup squad because of medical reasons and admits his career may be at risk.

The former Middlesbrough, Cardiff and Rangers player, now with Dutch side NAC Breda, made the decision after medical tests revealed an irregular heartbeat.
