Jewell 'livid' at Chimbonda transfer demand

Wigan manager Paul Jewell has launched a scathing attack on Pascal Chimbonda following the defender’s shock decision to ask for a move.

Latics chairman Dave Whelan made his feelings clear on the subject after Chimbonda handed in a transfer request before he had changed out of his kit following yesterday’s 4-2 defeat at Arsenal.
