St Pat's get third win in a row
Dublin City 0 St. Patrick's Athletic 2
St Pat's responded to Tuesday's League Cup exit by maintaining their good league form with a third win on the spin over an abject Dublin City.
David Mulcahy had a goal disallowed on three minutes before Saints did take the lead four minutes later.
Referee Damien Hancock played a good advantage following a foul on Mulcahy and Trevor Molloy crossed for strike partner Paul Keegan to shoot past Gary Rogers.
Molloy then extended Saints lead with a stunning free-kick on 29 minutes after a clumsy foul by Vikings' skipper Stuart Malcolm on Sean O'Connor.
