Jewell struggling

Wigan manager Paul Jewell is struggling for numbers going into his side’s final Barclays Premiership match of the season with Arsenal at Highbury.

Along with several injured players in Arjan de Zeeuw, John Filan and Ryan Taylor, Gary Teale serves a one-match ban following his sending-off for handball in last Saturday’s defeat to Birmingham.

Jewell at least has the services of Josip Skoko again, the midfielder having completed a recent loan spell at Stoke.
