Hoyte misses Arsenal clash

Sunderland defender Justin Hoyte will miss out on a reunion with his Arsenal team-mates on Monday night under the terms of his loan agreement.

However, caretaker boss Kevin Ball is hopeful key trio Julio Arca (hamstring), Liam Lawrence (groin) and Jon Stead (head) could be fit.

But midfielder Rory Delap is out for the season after surgery on a broken nose.
