Tainio recovers from toe injury

Tottenham midfielder Teemu Tainio will return to training tomorrow after it was revealed his toe is not broken.

Tainio sustained damage to his toe during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal and despite finishing the game, there were fears he would be ruled out for the remaining two matches against Bolton and West Ham.

But Spurs boss Martin Jol said today: “After the game we were a bit worried about Teemu but it’s very good news, he’s fine and will train tomorrow.”
