Petrov starts for Celtic

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan had no hesitation in starting with Stilian Petrov in the final Old Firm game of the season despite the Bulgarian’s decision to hand in a transfer request on Friday.

The only change to the Bank of Scotland Premier League champions was Shaun Maloney replacing Shunsuke Nakamura.

Rangers were looking close the gap on second-place Hearts and manager Alex McLeish made just one change with Gavin Rae coming in for skipper Barry Ferguson.
