Spurs have better of goalless first half

Tottenham had the better of the opening half of today’s Premiership clash with north London rivals Arsenal at Highbury, which remained goalless.

Spurs – looking to tighten their grip on fourth place – created more in front of goal, as winger Aaron Lennon impressed.

Jens Lehman saved well from England striker Jermain Defoe as the Gunners, without rested captain Thierry Henry, struggled to find an attacking rhythm.
