Tainio blow for Tottenham

Tottenham expect to be without Finnish midfielder Teemu Tainio for their home game with Manchester United after he picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-0 victory at Everton on Saturday.

Centre-back Michael Dawson will be available again after suspension but there is still a doubt over striker Mido, who missed the Everton victory with a groin injury.

Boss Martin Jol also has worries about two other players injured at Goodison Park, Ledley King (ankle) and Anthony Gardner (gashed ankle).
