Russia confirms Hiddink appointment
Russia have confirmed Guus Hiddink will take over as their national coach after the World Cup.
The Dutchman, who had been touted as a possible successor to England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson when he leaves the post after the tournament, announced yesterday he was taking the Russian job.
