Stephen O’Flynn got Derry back to winning ways, but they had to work very hard for the three points against a resurgent Bohemians.

Bohs, with eight goals in their last two games, started brightly but neither side really created a decent chance on goal in a disappointing first half.

The only effort of note came from Pat McCourt who brought a save out of Stephen O’Brien on 36 minutes.

But McCourt did well to set up O’Flynn who beat O’Brien from 25 yards with a terrific strike for the only goal of the game on 61 minutes.
