Bruce puts faith in Butt

Steve Bruce has pinpointed on-loan midfielder Nicky Butt as the key player who could inspire Birmingham to cling onto their Barclays Premiership status.

Butt was public enemy number one with a section of fans after walking out of the team hotel ahead of February’s game at West Ham when not included in the 16 for the clash at Upton Park.
