Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce claims he “might as well go on the dole now” if his team fail to learn from their performance against Middlesbrough.

The 1-0 defeat to Boro yesterday, who netted just before half-time through teenager Lee Cattermole, was followed by Pearce tearing into his under-performing players.
