Shearer testimonial sold out

Newcastle captain Alan Shearer’s testimonial game has sold out.

The 35-year-old will say his farewell to fans in front of a packed house at St James’ Park on Thursday, May 11 with the proceeds – expected to top £1m (€1.46m) - going to charity.
