Shelbourne would perhaps like to meet Glentoran every week after another easy win over the Belfast side at the Oval brought them their first victory in seven games – since they last met Glens.

Jason Byrne put Shels in front on 16 minutes with a shot from just outside the area.

Ollie Cahill then rowed in with his first goal of the season with a terrific lob from all of 30 yards. Byrne added his second to end any hopes of a revival by Glens on 68 minutes.
