Shels hoping to continue good form

Shelbourne will be hoping to continue their impressive results over Glentoran when they face the Belfast men at the Oval tonight.

With just two points separating the four sides in Group Two – Glentoran, Shelbourne, Derry City and Linfield – with two games to go, victories at this stage are vital to earn one of the two semi-final spots available.

Having beaten Glentoran in their three meetings in the last 12 months, Shelbourne are favourites though they will need an improvement on their recent form which has seen them go six games without a victory.

Owen Heary and Colin Hawkins are suspended for Shels while Liam Kearney (toe), Jamie Harris (foot) and Dave Rogers (knee) are all doubts.

Glentoran will be at full strength and are expected to field the same side that has won its last four matches.
