Loan star Graham heads to Leeds
Leeds have completed the loan signing of young Middlesbrough striker Danny Graham, while defender Rui Marques has joined Hull.
Highly-rated Graham, 20, had been on loan at Derby since November and made 14 appearances for the Rams without scoring.
The England U20 striker returned to the Riverside Stadium at the end of February, but has not featured for Steve McClaren’s first team since a late substitute appearance in the 2-1 home win over Arsenal back in September.
Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell has been looking to boost his forward ranks since Richard Cresswell was ruled out for the rest of the season with knee damage last month.
Last week Leeds paid an undisclosed fee to Ryman League side Wealdstone for striker Jermaine Beckford, who stepped off the bench to make his debut in this week’s defeat to Crystal Palace.
Central defender Marques has joined up with Peter Taylor’s Hull until the end of the season. The Angola international, who has made just one appearance for Blackwell’s side this season, will be ineligible to face Leeds at the KC Stadium on April 1.
