Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has confirmed Roy Keane will be out of action for “three to four” weeks after tearing his hamstring in their CIS Insurance Cup final triumph.

But the absence is not so crushing because the champions-elect can go 17 points clear of Hearts at the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League with victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Parkhead tomorrow.

Mark Wilson and John Hartson return to the squad after being cup-tied and suspended respectively for the 3-0 victory over Dunfermline at Hampden Park on Sunday.

Provisional squad: Boruc, Telfer, Balde, McManus, Wilson, Petrov, Nakamura, Lennon, Thompson, Maloney, Dublin, Wilson, Zurawski, Marshall, Pearson, Lawson, Wallace, Varga, Hartson.
