Waterford United 1 Bray Wanderers 1

Daryl Kavanagh scored a dramatic injury-time equaliser to earn 10-man Waterford a smash-and-grab point at the RSC.

With Bray good value for what appeared to be three points, substitute Kavanagh got possession from nothing near the right touchline and chipped Chris O’Connor in the Bray goal from all of 30 yards.

Bray had deservedly got their noses in front on 61 minutes from the penalty spot after John Hayes had been sent off for a blatant handball from Robbie Doyle's shot. Eamon Zayed sent the otherwise unbeatable Jimmy Fyffe the wrong way from the spot.
