Shels announce new online commentary service

Shelbourne website are delighted to announce the commencement of a new online streaming commentary service beginning this tomorrow, for the game against Longford Town in Tolka Park.

Declan Drake will be commentating on the game for Shelsweb.

He said: "I'm delighted to be involved in such an innovative and novel idea. This is a first in the eircom League and once again Shelbourne have shown the way forward by being first to try the concept. I'm looking forward to the challenge this opportunity presents".

Gareth Penrose, webmaster of the official Shelbourne website, said: "We are continually attempting to enhance and improve what is on offer on www.shelbournefc.ie and the next logical step is online commentary. We already have a fantastic team at Shelsweb and the addition of Declan is a big plus."

"Recently we have introduced a podcast service and it is proving a big hit with fans. We hope to continue to expand our multimedia section over the course of the season."

The commentary will be available from http://stream.dv4.com/live. Commentary will start at 7.35pm.
