Vieira promised great Highbury reception

Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein believes Juventus midfielder Patrick Vieira will receive a warm welcome when the teams meet in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Vieira left Highbury in the summer after almost a decade of success, with the Gunners struggling for Barclays Premiership form and presence in the midfielder’s absence.

“It will be nice to see Patrick Vieira back at Highbury,” Dein said on Sky Sports News. “He’ll get a very warm reception, he was a great captain and had nine great years with us.”
