Saints new boys set for starts

St Patrick’s Athletic could give debuts to their six winter signings when they kick off their season against Waterford United at Richmond Park tonight.

Trevor Molloy, Paul Keegan, Lee Roche, Mark Rutherford, Mark Quigley and former Waterford captain David Mulcahy are all available for selection and could all be thrown in by manager Johnny McDonnell.

However, striker Chris Armstong and captain Colm Foley are unlikely to be risked having just recovered from their respective knee operations.

Waterford United, meanwhile, are at full strength and will field an almost complete new team with manager Mike Kerley prepared to use most of the 13 players he has signed during the close season.
