Derry rocked by injuries

Derry City have a mini-injury crisis as they prepare for the start of the Premier Division season against UCD at the Brandywell.

Kevin Deery (ankle) is definitely ruled out of the clash while Killian Brennan (hamstring) and Patrick McCourt (groin) are extremely doubtful. Brian Cash and Eamon Doherty are on stand-by to start in midfield.

UCD meanwhile are at full strength for the clash and will give a debut to new signing Alan Cawley.
