City begin title defence

Cork City will be at full strength as they kick off the Premier Division title defence against promoted Dublin City at Turner’s Cross.

Manager Damien Richardson is likely to field the same starting XI that beat Dungannon Swifts 2-0 in Monday night’s Setanta Sports Cup clash.

Dublin City, meanwhile, will be without Ger McCarthy (suspended) and Mick O’Donnell (thigh) while Mark Rooney (knee) faces a late fitness test.
