Waterford sign right back Flynn

Waterford United manager Mike Kerley has made his 13th winter signing by snapping up former Ireland youth right back Patrick Flynn.

The out of contract 21-year-old has plenty of experience from his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Kidderminster Harriers in England.

Kerley said: “It was one of our aims to look at good young players because our budget doesn’t stretch to signing established players in the League.

“Patrick has a lot of experience for his age and that will be a big benefit for us.”
