Senderos warns of Real danger

Philippe Senderos is well aware of the threat an on-song Real Madrid team would present to Arsenal’s hopes of booking a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League tomorrow.

The Gunners will defend the narrowest of margins from their hard-earned victory at the Bernabeu a fortnight ago, secured with a stunning individual effort by captain Thierry Henry.

The Spaniards were well below par a fortnight ago, but with the likes of David Beckham, Raul and Ronaldo in the side, there remains the potential for Juan Ramon Lopez Caro’s men to turn the tie on its head.

Arsenal defender Senderos knows it will take another solid all-round display for Arsene Wenger’s men to go through.

“You never know what you are going to get with Real Madrid on any given day,” Swiss international Senderos said.

“We put in a good performance in Madrid and now let’s see if we can do that again at home.”
