Wright boost for Everton
Everton could have Richard Wright available for the trip to West Ham with the former England ’keeper back in light training after his ankle injury.
But it is more likely that on loan Sander Westerveld will hold his place at Upton Park, with either Wright or Iain Turner – who has served his one-match suspension -on the bench.
Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville also return after completing their one match bans, although Duncan Ferguson still has three of his seven-match suspension to serve.
Simon Davies picked up a minor leg injury while playing for Wales and should be fit, while Everton have young striker James Vaughan and winger Andy van der Meyde also back in training. Neither are expected to be involved, while Alessandro Pistone also returns to training next week after his knee problem.
Provisional squad: Westerveld, Hibbert, Yobo, Weir, Stubbs, Valente, Ferrari, Carsley, Naysmith, Arteta, Cahill, Davies, Neville, Kilbane, Osman, McFadden, Beattie, Wright, Turner, Van der Meyde.
