Lampard: Get the best man for the job

England midfielder Frank Lampard wants the Football Association to ignore nationality and simply appoint the best candidate to succeed Sven-Goran Eriksson as England team boss.

The Swede will leave his post after the World Cup finals this summer and believes it is important the identity of his successor known before the team begin their preparations for the tournament in earnest.
