Villa extend Delaney deal

Aston Villa have decided to take up the one-year option on Mark Delaney’s contract this summer.

The 29-year-old Wales defender, currently sidelined by a knee injury, had been concerned by Villa’s lack of urgency in taking up the 12-month extension to his deal.
