City check on Sinclair

Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce will make a late check on Trevor Sinclair before deciding whether to let the former England man play in a face mask against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Sinclair needed his cheekbone straightening after suffering a heavy blow during Manchester City’s win over Charlton last weekend but has declared his willingness to play providing he gets clearance from the Blues medical staff.
