Charlton manager Alan Curbishley wants the Football Association to end speculation over the England manager’s position by drawing up a definite plan of action.

Curbishley has been continually mentioned as a potential successor to the departing Sven-Goran Eriksson, along with the likes of Bolton’s Sam Allardyce, Manchester City’s Stuart Pearce and Middlesbrough’s Steve McClaren.
